Hello everyone! My name is Darja Buitendijk, and I live with my husband and our cat buddies in Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, Netherlands. I've been creatively engaged since childhood, enjoying a variety of activities. One of my favorite outlets for creativity is art journaling. I’m Heather and I’m so happy to be a part of the Art Journal Specials design team! I live in Barrie, Ontario Canada. I’m married and have 4 children and 3 grandchildren. Since graduating from Interior Design I jumped into the architecture/construction field where I worked for 20 years. I am typically a very linear crafter but I do love to play with mixed media and break free from my linear nature! I’ve been crafting since childhood but finally found my paper crafting passion in 2005. I retired from “work” in 2020 and now I have more time to take care of my family, volunteer, and CRAFT!

Hi everybody, my name is Ingrid Krijgsman, and have been creative since I was a child. Until recently, my greatest passion was brush lettering, which I still do with love. I discovered art journaling in 2021 and was soon able to become part of the fantastic design team of the ArtJournal Specials. In the art journal, you can really express all your creative excesses. So much fun! Since 2024 I had the opportunity to join the amazing planner essentials design team too. I love working with all those beautiful designs of Esther. I enjoy working with all Elizabeth Craft Designs products and really enjoy combining them all together. I hope I can inspire you with the creations I make.

Hello!! My name is Janet Schmitz. aka Mixed Media Momma. I'm a retired therapist and farm wife. My husband and I have been living for 30 years on the farm he was born and raised on in the northeastern part of Nebraska. My inspiration comes from the farm, land & nature. The main lesson that I have learned over the years is to use what we have and make it better. As a self-taught artist, I love incorporating 'junk' into my base and turning it into art. Currently, my projects range from beautiful journals to mixed media art or if I'm really inspired I may combine both into the same project. I'm a bit obsessed with paper, textiles, color, texture, and using all kinds of goops (mediums). They are my 'Happy Place'! I love to teach (and have taught at a local art store), create with others, and learn as much as I can. I am honored and thrilled to be a part of this beautiful design team.

I am a mixed-media artist. I am captivated by all things vintage, antique, and rich in texture, they intrigue and capture the essence of my inner creativity. I love the textured detail in the craftsmanship, color, and design of an era gone by. From architecture to the simplest of folk craft, there is something enchanting about the rusty metal, peeled paint, worn edges, and torn pages that capture both beauty and imagination. In my art, I incorporate layers of inks, paints, mixed media, papers, etc. to try and capture texture and create interest and a little bit of the magic that inspires me.

Hello all, My name is Jilldis Mulders, I am 45 years young and I live in Nijmegen in the Netherlands. I am the mother of a fantastic son, and together with my husband and dog, our family is complete. Ever since I can remember I have had a pencil, brush, or crochet hook in my hands. I have also tried just about all my hobbies. But being creative with paper is really my preference, I don't care which medium as long as color is involved. I am very happy that I can be part of ECD for my 3rd year and hope to be able to create many beautiful things and inspire other people. For the art journal specials and now also with the flowers.

My name is José Kramer, I'm 34 years old and I live in Westerlee, the Netherlands. I live there with my fiancée, my little doggy, 2 cats, and 5 tame rats. I have always enjoyed being creative and I have done all kinds of things, including deco patching, fimo clay, diamond painting, making cakes, and much more. I started with drawing in 2017 and discovered mixed media and art journaling, which I still enjoy doing on a daily base. I am also lucky to be part of the design team of the ArtJournal Specials and to be able to inspire other people with my work.

I’m Martine, born in the Netherlands and living across the border in Germany. I’ve been crafting and drawing for as long as I can remember and got part of the Art Journal Specials design team. I’m captivated by the vintage style, nature, and people in general. These themes you see the most when you would describe my creations. I love to observe how people look, walk, and talk. I love the colors and differences in flowers and leaves and I love different structures in old, vintage materials. Torn edges, weathered look, rusty stains. I love to combine different structures in my art as well by using not only different structures of paper but metal or structure pastes, threads, or small pieces of fabric to finish it off. Hello, I'm Reanna, a mixed-media artist from the Netherlands. I love to incorporate all kinds of techniques in my journals, planners, on cards, and snail mail projects and have been doing this since 2018 after I found back my creativity and followed a mixed media course. I have been a proud member of the ECD team since 2020 and try to inspire creative people through giving lives, teaching workshops, posting (a lot of) pictures, writing blogs and I recently opened a YouTube channel where I post tutorials.

Hello all! My name is Rianne, 35 years old and I live with my wife and daughter Juul (2) near Arnhem, in the Netherlands. From an early age, I have been creative. From making cards, albums, and mixed media to art journaling. My style can be recognized by a vintage look and a stitch here and there. But I also really like a pop of color every now and then. Hey everybody! I am so happy to be able to share my crafty world with you all! I dabble in all sorts of crafts. I love woodworking, sewing doll clothes, cooking, hair and makeup, and much more. Most of all I LOVE paper crafting!! Now, that is my passion. I love to incorporate colors, textures, and dimensions into my projects and planners. 3D projects and mini albums are some of my favorite things to create! Fun fact: I have 3 adult children, a 17-year-old, and a brand new grandson that I call Buppa! Do you know what that means?
