A Joyful Gift Tag

Hi everyone, Katie here with todays fun creative post!! I can't get enough of Oli the Bear! so I thought I would create a cute Christmas Tag with some scraps I had left over from a album I created. So grab a hot beverage and lets begin.

Step 1 : Cut your bear from your favorite card stock, for this bear I used a medium and light brown cardstock and inked my edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. After you assemble your bear apply glossy accents to the bears nose, set aside and let it dry.

Step 2: Cut your holly leaves from medium green cardstock and ink the edges, The berries were cut from the designer paper I used for the tag, that had a mixture of reds and pinks.

Step 3: Cut your tag from your choice of designer paper and ink the edges.

Step 4: Cut your "JOY" From coordinating designer paper, I love, love this die as it has stiches all around the edges of the letters and of course this die comes in Esther's new release Yes Joy Page #2077.

Step 5: I cut Oli's hat and scarf from the matching designer paper.

Step 6: I pop-dotted "Joy" and Oli with foam dots, assemble your tag as above.

Step 7: Speckle your tag with white heavy body paint.

Hope you enjoyed todays post and it brough some inspiration,

have a wonderful day!
