Yellowstone Fun

Karen here, and I am thrilled to be back as a design team member here at Elizabeth Craft Designs! Yay! I'm grateful for the little break that they afforded me when life got too busy, but honestly, crafting is what keeps me sane!! Today, I'm adding a Planner Essentials scrapbook page to my "Places I've Been" album. This one was of a recent road trip that my hubby and I made where one stop was Yellowstone. The cute and whimsical Oli the Bear seemed to fit the page.

Seriously, how cute is this lil guy. Oli is cut using the Oli the Bear set (of course) with brown, black and kraft cardstock. I used a little Copic E4 for his sweet little tongue. That fun background paper is from the Rustic Winter set. Love love love that grouping of papers!

The front of my two-page spread uses the page base, the letters and the filmstrip and slider from the Tab 5 with Sliders set. I came back from Yellowstone with SO many pictures of animals and scenery. Using the filmstrip from this set was a great way to be able to add several pics on one page. And of course, no trip to Yellowstone is complete without seeing Old Faithful erupt. We were lucky enough to catch it twice. The fun reinforcements are from this same set (the oval ones). I layered the little circle reinforcements cut with White Soft Finish Cardstock backed with 101mm Double Sided Adhesive. The little circles are in the Reinforcement Variety Pack 1. The stamps are from the Quality Time set.

The back uses the letters again from the Tab 5 with Sliders set as well a doily from the Small Doilies set. (I used one of the circles to cut out the middle...) There is also another stamp from the Quality Time set.

Thank you for stopping by!

Craftily yours, Karen
